Gaetano Simone with the violinist Silvia Grasso and with the pianist Liubov Gromoglasova in 2016 founded the "Trio Gioconda De Vito", dedicated to the greatest Italian violinist of the twentieth century.
Ensamble en residence of the Paolo Grassi Foundation in Martina Franca, in whose concerts he regularly participates and for which he has created an initiative dedicated to Shostakovich, conducted by the music critic Sandro Cappelletto and presented during the 43 Edition of the Festival della Valle d'Itria. Trio Gioconda De Vito won national and international competitions, and performs in the most prestigious concert halls in Europe.
The Modus String Quartet, Quartet of the Traetta Theater, was born from the great passion for ensemble music. Serena Soccoia and Leo Gadaleta (violinists), Teresa Laera (violist) and Gaetano Simone (cellist), decided to found a classical formation to deal with the classical and contemporary repertoire, favoring compositions of rare beauty but little performed.
